Tyler caught this little shark when they went out on the raft. He said it was a lot of fun, that it really put up a fight!

Reeling in the nurse shark, it takes a lot of strength to reel in a shark. That's why you never see me with a pole in my hands!

Blake taking the bait outThis year was a very frustrated year with the shark fishing. The first night we went shark fishing we got six or seven hits and the boys would try to set the bait and start reeling and the line would snap in half. We figured we must of had Jaws on there or something. This happened like I said six or seven times. And then the next night, Mark and Tyler caught a nurse shark. And then the next two nights after that, nothing went after our bait. So we left with only about a six or seven foot Nurse shark. I guess there is always next year!

Great pictures, Melissa! Matthew loves sharks and was interested to see these! WOW! Good job on all your posts. I know everyone here was so happy you got to visit for such a long time, but I know you were glad to get back home. It was great seeing you and your beautiful family. Hope the rest of your summer is nice.
