The Sunshine State!

Mya and I were joined by my two cousins Lindsey and Britney on a trip to the Sunshine State! It was cold and rainy when we first got there but the weather slowly got better and we were able to spend some time outdoors. This trip was really low key which I loved and I was able to spend some one-on-one time with little Mya. We enjoyed making egg rolls, having a girls weekend at the beach, playing at the park, and spending time with my family who I can never see enough. It was fun hanging out with Britney and little Kruse because they live in Utah and I never get a chance to see them. Mya and I missed the rest of our family and were excited to come home but we sure enjoyed a break from Idaho's winter weather!

Gymnastics Performances

Brynn was a part of Elevate's exhibition team so they were able to travel around and perform with the cheerleaders at balls games and competitions. It was a lot of fun seeing her perform and do her thang. :)

Despite our greatest intentions, Ty and I made it up to Pomerelle once and Peyton was able to go twice. We keep saying every year that we will go more often. Ty bought Peyt and I some snowboards last year so that we could go often but life gets in the way and its just not possible to go as much as we would like. This was our first trip taking Peyton and by the end of the night Peyton was kicking my trash. He was such a natural and had a blast. He refused to stop and eat, drink, use the bathroom...anything. He was definitely a die hard and the next time Jordan and John went up, there was NO WAY Peyton was going to get left behind. It was fun going up and spending time together. I loved watching Peyton enjoy himself and his dad "instructing" him. I don't know, maybe next year we will make it at least 2 times!

Snow Cave

One day the conditions were perfect for the kids and Tyler to build a snow cave over our ditch. And I have to say it was a pretty impressive snow cave. The pictures really do not to it justice. It was so big. The kids played out there most of the day. Unfortunately the snow cave didn't last too long in our crazy weather.

Skating or Bust!

We took the kids skating during our Christmas vacation and I cannot say it enough, "I love to skate!" We had such a fun time. It was not crowded so we pretty much had the rink to ourselves. The kids are still learning so they started off kind of slow but was eventually getting the hang of it. We played all the games and even got in on some races. Brynn won a free drink because she won Four Corners. The kids have been begging to go back and if you go on family night...you get if like 14 dollars. Nothing beats that!

Sledding and Snowboarding

Karlee invited us over to her aunt's house for a day of sledding during our Christmas break. The kids had a blast and the hill there was awesome. We had to be careful that the kids didn't make it down to the river. Jordan and John brought snowboards and practiced their skills before we made it up to Pomerelle. Mya of course hated it so it wasn't so much fun for me or her but everyone else sure enjoyed themselves!

Christmas Sunday

John snapped these pictures for me on Christmas Sunday. I had to be in to a meeting before church and thank goodness he was on top of things and took their pictures. Even though Riley made an appearance in all of them and Mya's bow was no longer in her hair :)

The Nativity

I was so happy that we would be able to make it to the annual Silcock nativity play :) This is something that we miss out on when we go to Florida so I was happy that my kids were able to take part in it this year. It definitely brings in an amazing spirit for the holidays.
