Fishing

Brynnie caught the first fish

Landen is running away from the fish
Landen did NOT want to touch the fish and didn't want them near him. He liked reeling the pole but was done after that.

Bear World

Landie liked feeding the swan

On our way to Yellowstone, we decided to stop at Bear World. It was really fun. We drove through and looked at all the animals and they were right next to our car. They had elk, deer, buffalo, and turkeys. And then we were able to go into the bear cages. They had both grizzly and black bear. You were not suppose to stop and you had to keep your windows rolled up. The bear were huge! We broke the rules and ended up stopping and watching the bear and before we knew it they had us surrounded on all sides. They would stand on two feet and have their huge paws on our windows and were just looking in. One bear even jumped on the back of our expedition and broke our rear windshield wiper. He enjoyed sitting their and chewing on it. It was crazy. Landen and Brynn were kind of scared though. After that we took the kids to their petting zoo and you could just walk through and pet all the animals. They even had deer in there to pet. They had little goats and birds and pigs also. The kids loved feeding and petting all the animals. Bear World also had little carnival rides for the kids and I think that was their favorite part. It was so cold so we couldn't stay very long, but we would want to definitely go back when it is warmer.

Yellowstone Park

This was called the "Grand Canyon" of Yellowstone

This hot springs was called the Dragon's Mouth. My kids thought it was so cool. Except for the smell of rotten eggs in the air from all the sulfur.
We had to stop and wait for these buffaloes to cross the road, the little baby wanted a quick snack before he continued across

Old Faithful

My Grandma and her husband came and visited us from Georgia. It was great having them here and spending time with them. I never feel like I ever see my Grandma enough when I am home. We took them up to Yellowstone for the weekend to see all the animals and the beautiful scenery. It was kind of cold while we were there and my kids started driving me crazy because we were cooped up in the car for about 12 hours and the DVD player had broke, but we survived.
