Swimming Lessons
Most days Landen would wait patiently for his turn to go swimming in the kiddie pool. As long as I had snacks, he was good to stay in his seat.

Peyton and Brynn completed their two week swimming lessons last week. I haven't put them in swimming lessons very much b/c we are always in Florida for so long. But this year, we didn't stay as long and they weren't able to swim a lot, so I put them in. They loved going. Brynn is a little bit more timid when it comes to the water, but she did a great job. She would go under water by herself and would just to her teacher from the side. Peyton has always been a great swimmer and did really good. It sure took up most of my day though, so I am glad to have this week to getting some of my projects done. After swimming lessons we would let Landen swim in the wading pool for awhile, and then we would go to the park for free lunch and by the time we got home, our day was shot. But that is what summer is all about!Thursday, July 22, 2010
Family Reunion 2010
In this Minute to Win It game you had a minute to see how many skittles you could suck through the straw and dump into another bowl
In this game, you had to dab your nose in petroleum jelly and stick a cotton ball to your nose and transfer it to the other bowl in a minute
You had to use your face muscles in this game to get the Oreo from your forehead to your mouth. Everyone was making the funniest faces.

Dave won this game really fast. You had a tissue box full of ping pong balls, tied to your waist and you had to be the first one to shake them all out.

Landen LOVED riding Larry and didn't want to get down, he would cry when we would make him get down. He looked so little on that big horse.

Great-Grandma S. with all of her great-grandchildren. We are only missing baby Grant because he was taking a siesta.

We had our annual family reunion this year. The kids always love this reunion and getting to hang out at the cabin. This year Grandma and Grandpa took some of the older grandkids a day early to the cabin and they were so excited. Our family was in charge and they did a great job with the games and crafts. We had skeet-shooting for the men and water games for the kids. At night we played a fun game from a T.V. show, called Minute to Win It. It was a lot of fun. We had a pinata and horse rides. We had sort of a rodeo with one of Richard's horse. Ang and Michael fell of of him and Ang was all scraped up and sore and Peyton almost fell off of the same horse, but he was able to hang on. It sure scared him and me though. Anyways, other than that we had a great time and enjoyed spending time with family!Wednesday, July 14, 2010
We had our Ultrasound today!!!!

It's a GIRL! We are so excited that everything looks great and she looks like a healthy baby! Brynn is super excited and she said that she knew all along that it was a girl. Landen still thinks it is a boy and Peyton isn't quite sure what to think about another girl. He was really wanting another brother. We are excited to add another little one to our growing family. Now, I just have to come up with a name....

D-Day Parade

We had our annual d-day parade this last weekend. The kids always really look forward to this parade. It is short and sweet and they throw lots of candy. Brynn's little dance class performed as the entertainment after the parade. They looked so cute and did such a great job even though they hadn't had performed that dance in awhile. After the events we went to the river with Jen and Cody and some friends. I crashed when I got home but that is what summer is all about, right?
