Peyton's unique snow angel, made after plummeting from the sky!

Brynn's Snow Angel

Tyler would throw Peyton in the snow, to make his own unique snow angel, it was funny to watch!

Our sad, lookin' snowman (the snow didn't pack as well, so this was as big as we could make it)

Winter Wonderland...Yeah Right!

Putting the Florida boy to work!

We had to shovel snow off our tramp so it wouldn't cave in and break!

You couldn't even see our porch

You can imagine my disgust and horror as we woke up Saturday morning to already a couple of inches of snow and it was still snowing! I couldn't believe it, I mean come on, it's October for crying out loud! I don't know why I am still shocked when it snows out of season. I remember the first birthday I had when I was first married, it snowed. And my birthday is May 20th! I just wanted to cry and fly home to the warm sunshine in Florida. I mean I usually go to the beach for my b-day and here I was pregnant, and huddled under blankets to stay warm. No fair! So I still don't understand why I am still surprised when it snows, say in October! Needless to say, my kids had a blast playing in it. I couldn't get pics because I was away at a volleyball tournament, so I wasn't here. Oh, and by the way it kept snowing all day! I am not sure how much we got in all, but it was more snow then I have seen since I lived here for sure! All of my volleyball girls were sooo excited that it was snowing...I figured they are sixteen years old, so maybe in sixteen years I will be just as excited as they were to see snow! I can just here all of you in Florida laughing at this!

Playtime

The other day the kids built a "clubhouse" and played in there for a long time. Landen got to join in on the fun this time. It has been funny to watch but Landen has been included in more things with Peyton and Brynn since he has started walking. I just love watching all of my kids playing together and having fun. It reminds me of my childhood and playing with all of my siblings. Actually I would be fighting and/or playing with Mark, while protecting Jonathan and Jordan from getting beat up or getting talked into buying an old toy of Mark's that he was trying to "sell" them for a high price.

Look Who's Walking!

These are some stale marshmallows that he pulled from the trash can too. I promise I feed this kid!

This picture turned out so cute... by accident I assure you!

Yes, that is right, my little boy is officially a toddler! Landen has been taking a few steps for awhile now, but he has just now chosen walking as his primary mode of transportation this last week. I have been meaning to take pictures, but just haven't gotten around to it. Anyways, to say the least he has definitely been getting into more things, if that is even possible. If you are wondering about what is on his face... it's yogurt... that he pulled out of the trash can. Yep, he was sipping it like a drink of water. So, so long to a clean and tidy house!

Ballerina

I know most of you are getting sick of me posting Brynn's dance pictures, but she finally received her practice costume and I had to take a few snap shots. Brynn is still loving dance and she is doing really well. I haven't got to watch her practice in a few weeks, because parents are not allowed to watch and because I take advantage of running errands with two kids instead of three. But next week I will get to watch and I am excited to see how she does. (I don't know why she was folding her arms like that!)

Personal Progress Night

These are all of the "P" items that Madi wore and brought!

This week for mutual the Young Women came over to my house for an IHOP night. We ate pancakes and went over Personal Progress. It was ironic that they called me to be a Personal Progress leader a few years ago... ironic because I didn't always like completing my goals when I was in young women's. So this has really helped me realize how important this program really is. And the youth in our ward are just GREAT and they really work hard and want to do what they are suppose to do. I even challenged the girls to come dressed in as many "P" items as they could. For example pig tails, pajamas, pink, purple, etc. And whoever had the most one a prize. And as you can see from the picture above Madison won. She had so many "P" items it was hilarious. From pig tails in her hair to a pink potty in her purse!
