Baby Chicks

Tyler went and bought 10 baby chicks to raise up for the summer. We were all so excited to have chickens in our lives again! They are just so small and cute. I keep catching Landen out in the garage just looking at them.

Wii Party!

Me, Kristen, Angie, and Arianne

I had to steal this picture of us from Kristen's blog. I just laughed when I saw it. I love playing the Wii and since we do not have one we can only play when we are invited over to do so. Peyton loves it and we all have a blast. I have been begging Tyler to get one, but he refuses. He tries to console me by saying, "if we got a Wii, then it won't be fun to play it when we go to other people's houses to play it." Anyways, Chris and Kristen have Mario Cart and we were really into it. IT was hard to stay on the track and we were all yelling and jumping up and down. Arianne really got into it, and I am sure we were funny to watch.

Mark and Savanna Are Pregnant!

Yesterday my mom and Jordan came from Florida because we are taking Jordan to the MTC tomorrow for him to report for his mission. That night before we went to bed Mark and Savanna had a going away gift for Jordan, and I was kind of bummed because I hadn't gotten him anything. Anyways, he pulled out this t-shirt and I only saw the front that said, "I can't wait to be an uncle" and I thought they were talking about my kids, anyways and then you turn the shirt around and it said "let the countdown begin, Oct 16th. And we all just kind of looked at eachother and then me and mom started shouting and jumping up and down. It was so exciting! We are so happy for them, and I CANNOT wait!

A Day in Twin

Holly captured the boys perfectly in this picture in Target

Like I said in a previous post, we had a really busy Spring Break, but it was fun busy! A group of us wanted to go shopping and since we had all of our kids home, we brought them with us. And it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. There were five moms and 13 kids. I know that when we were in Target everyone was looking at us like we were crazy, and we are a little! Peyton, Tanner, and Seth just wanted to run around and play fight, so they got in trouble a couple of times. Then we took them to McDonalds and let them play on the playground and then attempted Costco. Our boys got in trouble in Costco for running around by an employee there. But they quit doing it, so I guess it took a stranger to get them in trouble for them to finally listen. It was a lot of fun and I am up for another trip, anytime! (Thanks Holly for letting me steal your pics!)

Girl's Night!

I had to steal this picture from Robbie, because I did not have my camera. This was a much needed ladies night and it was a lot of fun! I didn't get home until 1:30. It was fun to just chat and catch up on some projects that have been neglected. And of course there was yummy food, thanks girls for a fun night!

More Spring Break Fun

Tyler and Brynn

Savanna and Landen

Tyler and Brynn

Mark

Brynn didn't like the monkey bars too much

Landen would only go down the slide on his stomach and eat it hard in the dirt!

We were suppose to go and spend time at the cabin this weekend and then decided not to go. Peyton was really disappointed because he wanted to go and do something, so we decided to go to Pocatello and try and find something to do. I wanted to go to Ross and Tyler wanted to go to Sportman's Warehouse. And plus we wanted to see Mark and Savanna, so we loaded up and went. Mark was still at work so we took the kids to the park and let them play, and when Mark came home, we went and ate at Craigo's. It is an all you can eat pizza, pasta, and salad. They even have dessert pizzas and ice cream, so I was in heaven! We then went searching for a place that might have some arcade games for the kids to play and we stopped at the skating rink. Tyler and Savanna went in to see if we could just play the games and came out smiling and motioning for us to come in. Mark was already saying that he was NOT going skating, (he had a tramatic experience that last time he went skating years ago and has not gone since...he ran over an older lady). They came and told us that Tyler and Savanna's Uncle Rod and his family were all there. So we decided to give it a try. Peyton and Brynn both went around once and were done. They just sat and played the games, so we skated and pushed Landen around in the stroller. It was so much fun and I never laughed so hard. I tried to have the camera ready for when someone fell, and of course Tyler, bit it hard and I didn't have the camera ready and didn't get to see it. Mark and I were talking and Mark started laughing so hard and I look and Tyler was laying on his back getting up. Pretty funny. I would suggest going skating the next time you are ever bored, it was so fun!

A Day at the Park

I LOVE the rocks sticking to his "dripping" nose

Love this little boy!

The Cook family came to the playground and the kids immediately wanted to play games with them. They are such a fun group of girls, the kids just love them. I loved that the lazy moms were just sitting in the grass watching them play ball and tag with our kids!

Jaylee was so cute playing with Landen. She would help him on the slides and help him swing and everything. She was such a good little helper!

The weather this week has been fabulous! A perfect time to have Spring Break. We have been on the go, but we have been doing fun things. The kids have been playing outside nonstop. It has been great! We decided to get together and go to the school park and let the kids play. It was nice to just sit and relax and talk with my friends. The kids had fun playing in the sun and we all got nice sun burns to prove it!

My Little Princess

Brynn wanted to dress up and take pictures of herself, so we had a little photo shoot the other day. I never ask questions when my kids want to have their pictures taken, I just grab the camera and go, before they change their minds. But I have been wondering lately, if doing this contributes to feelings of vanity...because after I had taken her pictures, Brynn kept saying, "Mom I so petty."

Raggedy Anne and Andy

Tyler's Aunt Karen made these CUTE dolls for all of her grand-nieces. It took her awhile, as you can imagine, and Brynn was soooo excited to open the box and see them. She even graciously gave Peyton the Andy doll, which he has been sleeping with and carrying around the house. I remember playing with these when I was small, and I thought that this was such a thoughtful gift. Thank you Aunt Karen!
