This was the first place George Washington was buried and then in his will he designated another tomb to be built at another spot on his property.

Lance took had my camera at Mt. Vernon and he took a picture of George Washington's dentures even though you were not suppose too. Pretty gross.

While we had the rental car we drove up to Mt. Vernon to see George Washinton's farm and home. He had his home built in such a beautiful place. He had a great view of the river and there were shade trees and it was just so pretty. We didn't tour his home because the wait was too long to get in there but we just walked around and looked at his sheds and kitchen and stables and things. We saw where he and his wife, Martha were buried and just learned more about the first president of the United States.
