We rented a car the first day we flew into Washington and we drove on up to Gettysburg. I have to say that Pennsylvania is one of the prettiest places I have seen. Gettysburg was really pretty and hard to believe that one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War was fought there. We drove all through Gettysburg looking at the monuments and things. They had some really good ice cream there too!
