The mighty bow hunter!

Tyler just recently found an old bow that he used as a kid, so of course he immediately wanted to teach Peyton how to shoot it. Peyton was really excited, that is all he wants to do when he is older, is go hunting with his dad. Peyton had a pretty good shot too. Tyler had set up an ice cream bucket as a target, and Peyton shot one arrow through it. I just had to take these pics because it is just an every day thing that I take for granted. Tyler is always willing to teach and play with our kids. When he comes home from work, he goes outside and jumps on the tramp with them or he will take them for walks. I am so grateful to have such a great husband, who is never too "busy" to spend time with me and our kids!

I have a little helper...

I have this little helper currently living in my house. It is actually quite nice having him around. He does all kinds of chores and most of the time he does them without me even having to ask him. He is such a big help, I don't know what I would do without him. If any of you are ever in need of some help around your house, feel free to call anytime and I am sure he will be glad to come over! :) (If any of you are wondering why he is in the same clothes, it is because this all happened today, actually within a two hour time period)He unloads the dishwasher

He'll organize your cabinets

He'll help you with your computer work!

He'll do your laundry

And he'll even clean your toilets!

Happy Birthday Peyton!

Jonathan had to get in on the arcade games too!

Braden rolled the bowling ball all on his own, and was really good at it!

This year for Peyton's birthday, I decided to take the easier route and take him and some of his friends bowling. This year he wanted an all boy party, so he invited some of his friends from church and preschool. They all had a lot of fun, but it was funny because all the boys wanted to do were play the arcade games. Tyler and Trey were the only avid bowlers in the group. Peyton had a great birthday party and a lot of fun!

Fair and Rodeo

I took a picture of this turkey, because this turkey is the one who bit poor little Brynnie's finger when she stuck it in his cage!

Peyton was the only one who would pet the pigs

Brynn liked feeding the cows, but only at a distance

This was Jonathan and Landen's first fair and rodeo

Landen petting the sheep

Brynn wanted a picture of her cute outfit, she asked me to take it after we got her dressed

I know that I say this alot but, I love living in a small town! It is so fun to go to the fair and rodeo and see people you haven't seen in awhile, look at all the animals, watching the rodeo, and of course, the food! My kids just love going. This year Tyler was out of town, so we only went to the rodeo one night, which worked out because Landen was so tired and irritable, we just stayed out with him most of the time. We already can't wait until next year!

Moving...

They left all of the heavy boxes for me

Peyton took a snack break first thing...

And then he decided to work a little.

Well, the day I have been dreading has finally arrived. Today we packed Mark and Savanna up and moved them into their new apartment about an hour away. And I know they aren't moving far away, but I am still sad. Anyways, it was a long day, but we made it through fine.

I had bought Peyton a new hat for school, so Brynn couldn't stand that he had a hat and she didn't, so she dug through her winter hats and had to wear this all day, even though it was sooo hot! I had to take a pic of my cute kids in their head wear.

ATTITUDE!

I had to journal about a little incident I had with Brynnie this morning. I was just telling Leslie how it has been fun because she is starting to speak in sentences and enunciate? her syllables better. Anyways, I was laying in bed this morning being lazy and she crawled into bed with me. Well, she wanted her sippy cup, so I went to the fridge to get it and it wasn't there, so I figured it was in her room. Well, I got back into bed with her and told her that her sippy must still be in her room and that she would have to go get it. Well, she whined and cried for a minute begging me to go get it and I told her, "No, if you want it go get it." If any of you know her well enough know that she will drop something as she is climbing on the couch and would want us to get whatever it is she dropped, she won't just bend over and get it. Anyways, when she realized I wasn't going to get it, she said, "Tay!" (while kicking off the covers) and then said, " I doe dit it!" (as she slammed my door). I laughed so hard. Maybe it isn't great that she is speaking in sentences now! Girls!!!

A weekend with Uncle Dave and Aunt Connie

Brynn thought she was going rafting too, but was satisfied to stay and play with Aunt Connie

There was a herd of goats just standing by the road, eating. The babies were so cute.

Mark and Savanna

My little rafting family ( and yes I look awful, but who would put on makeup and get ready just to get wet?)

Jake and Peyton showing off their "guns"

This last weekend we went up and visited Tyler's Aunt and Uncle and coincidently Mark's in-laws. We had a great weekend, it is so pretty where they live. There is wildlife everywhere! We saw deer, elk, and mountain goats. Tyler starting getting hunting fever while we were there. On Saturday Uncle Dave took us white water rafting. It was a lot of fun. We just took our time and stopped along the way and it was a blast. Peyton went with us and sat in the middle with a death grip on the rope. But he never got scared, except when it kind of started storming on us. And everyone who knows him, know he is deathly afraid of lightning. He loved the big rapids that would make the boat go way up in the air. Anyways, we stopped at this rock cliff that is about 15 ft above the water and were going to jump off of it. And guess who wanted to go too? Peyton. I know that he is a dare devil like his dad, but I never would have thought he would do this. But he did! I mean Tyler and I were scared to jump, but he didn't mind it one bit. I jumped first and waited at the bottom and Tyler kind of lifted him and dropped him in the water, so he would over correct and get hurt. And he loved it! We couldn't believe that a four year-old would do that. I guess that is just a sneak peak into what we have to look forward too in the years to come. Anyways, it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to visit again!
