The Parade is here!

These little horses were so cute!

Brooklyn eating her treat

This was my favorite float, talk about school pride

Landen sat and watched the whole parade and loved it!

Peyton checking out his candy stash

Brynn had to bring her most frilly purse to put her candy in!

Every year our little town gets together on the second weekend in July for a parade, food, and games. It is so great living in a small town and I wouldn't want it any other way! The kids love the parade because it is short and they throw tons of candy! We had to miss out on the games this year because it was Tyler's big ten year class reunion. Peyton loves to do the races and last year he actually one in his age group and got a Popsicle. But oh well, there is always next year!

Gentry Family 2008

Awwww, aren't they cute?

Maybe we should have done these first? Brynn was tired of taking pictures, as you can see

Beautiful picture, Leslie

My little "flower"

Thanks Leslie for taking these great pics!

My little boy...

This picture looks like he is in deep thought...

Well, it is official, I no longer have a little baby boy in my house anymore. When my kids turn nine months old, that is when I realize that they aren't baby babies anymore. Landen is crawling and getting into EVERYTHING. He has to be in the same room as me and I have to have all the doors shut, just so I can keep an eye on him. I was folding clothes the other day and he was on the floor at my feet and I hear him choking and I do the pinkie snatch and pull out a Ibuprofen. He had sucked the coating off and was at the white part and he didn't like it one bit! He is still a great little boy and is always so happy. He LOVES being outside and trying to grab Riley (our dog). His eyes light up when he hears Peyton or Brynn and just loves them to pieces. We are so lucky to have this little guy around!

Slipin' and a Slidin'!

These pictures say it all!

Brynn and Chelsea

These two were inseparable while we were in Florida. Brynn just loved hanging out with Chels. Chelsea painted her nails and gave her some necklaces. And I will tell you the key to Brynn's heart is jewelry!

Kissin' Cousins

This is Landen and his cousin Renner. There is only a weeks difference in age. We told them to give each other kisses and this is what happened. It was soooo funny. Renner even tilted his head to the side and everything! What made it even more hilarious was that Jared (Renner's dad) and I use to kiss all the time, and they called us kissing cousins. I know they will hate me for this picture later, but I couldn't pass it up!

Playin' Volleyball

We had a blast playing volleyball this year. We had to find some way to burn off the pounds we were rapidly gaining. We played boys against girls. The boys were the Crabs and the girls were the Lady Fish.

You might be a Redneck if:

The boats you take shark fishing look like something you should be playing with in the bath tub
You have to take your volleyball net down and use it when it rains (I have to say I was pretty proud of our homemade volleyball net, if I do say so myself!)

Surfer Dude

Peyton just LOVED the beach. He was a little fish the whole time we were there. In the pics you can see that his eyes are really red, and that is from him diving under the waves and swimming under the water. And yes, I said swimming. He learned to swim while Ty and I were in Scotland. He can now swim on his own and go under water all by himself. My little boy is growing up!
