Mya's at 11 months

It is so funny to me that as a parent you look at your kids and think, there is no way I could love another child as much as I love them. I remember one time feeling so overwhelmed by that feeling and also overwhelmed at the feeling of worry and concern a parent feels for their kids everyday of their life since the moment you find out you are pregnant. I remember looking at my kids and feeling these feelings so intensely that I truly felt that there was no way I could ever have another baby, because mentally and emotionally I didn't think I could handle it. And then Mya came along.... And as she was added to the mix of all of our craziness I realized that your heart expands and the love a mother has for her children is indescribable. I am so grateful this holiday season for my children. I am grateful for the things I learn from them everyday. I am grateful that I have been given this opportunity to raise and care for them. As Mya grows and is doing it right before my very eyes, I realize how much we take these little ones for granted. I have enjoyed every second with her and I know that I will not take one moment of her speeding childhood for granted. She is definitely growing up too fast and I feel as if I am trying to catch up to her and make her slow down. But she is such a joy in my life. My friend Kenna (who has a baby about the same age as Mya) and I were just talking about how our older kids are just so proud of their babies' accomplishments. How they will announce a new tooth, the fact that they are crawling, standing, sitting up, or just anything they are currently doing to anyone and everyone who will listen. These kids have just loved her and she is SPOILED rotten! I am sad that her year birthday is just around the corner but I am so happy and excited at the same time to see her mature and grow up into a beautiful little girl! We love ya Mya My!!

Halloween 2011

I actually really enjoyed Halloween this year. I am kind of a grump when it comes to Halloween. I think it is a waste of time and money. You buy a costume that you kid wears for a total of two hours, they have been wanting to wear their costume for a month and that has been a fight everyday, they get loaded up on candy and that is another fight trying to ration it out and keep them from eating all of it at one time, it is always cold, etc. etc. Needless to say, this isn't my favorite holiday. Anyways, this year was actually more enjoyable. We decided to skip the trunk-or-treat this year and take our kids trick-or-treating for real. It was a BLAST! The kids had no idea how to trick-or treat and we had to explain it to them. We went into a couple of subdivisions, let the kids load up in the back of the truck and we just followed them in the truck as they ran like crazy people to each house. The kids loved it and so did we. This is definitely the way to go now that our kids are getting older. I hope that everyone had a great Halloween!

Camden Mark

I have a new little nephew!!! He is so super cute. We were all excited to go meet him and to see Grant. Mya was jealous when Ty and I would hold him, it was funny. Savanna looked amazing and did it all natural (you go girl!). He looks just like little Grant. We were able to visit and eat with Mark and Grant and then we headed home. I can't wait to see him again!

More Football Pictures

I didn't get a lot of pictures of Peyton playing football this year. Having to deal with a ten month-old while trying to watch the game kept me busy. Mindy was so nice and sent me these pics that she had took of Peyton at their jamboree. Thanks so much Mindy!!

Enjoying a Sunday Afternoon

We have been loving this fall weather! Aunt Cherise called me and asked me if I would take some pictures of her family, so we all hung out afterward, just enjoying the weather. The boys practicing kicking field goals on the football field and just threw the football around until it got cloudy and cold. It was fun just being outside and enjoying the weather!

Landen's Four!!!!

Uh, yeah...Mya ate pretty much that whole apple (she stopped when all the caramel was gone) :)

Landen has been waiting for his birthday to come for months! Pretty much since Peyton's birthday (August). He was so excited to go to the pumpkin patch for his birthday and eat caramel apples. Oh, and I guess he liked opening his presents too :). On his actual birthday, he chose to eat at Aguila Con el Taco (my kids are obsessed with that place). And we had frosties at Wendys. We love this little kid and his spunky personality. He is my baby boy and always will be. Now that he is four, he keeps telling me that he is not my baby anymore ( so sad) :( He is such a sweet boy and just loves life! Happy Birthday Landie!!!!

The Mighty Hunter Strikes Again!

This little lady didn't care about the deer, she just wanted to suck on the rocks. She threw a fit when I took her inside.

10 months old and its FLYING by!!

This little lady still:Is the boss of the house, gets up twice a night!, loves her baths, loves her brothers and sister, absolutely adores her uncle Jordan, gets into the pee water in the toilet, loves to play with cars and trucks, loves to eat!, has the chubbiest legs and arms, has the bluest eyes, still has her momma and daddy wrapped around her chubby little fingers, is growing up too fast, is the sweetest little girl!

Walk-A-Thon 2011

I didn't get any pictures of my kids on the day of the Walk-a-Thon. I was in charge of it this year, so I was pretty busy most of the day. They both did so good! Peyton ran the entire time and was able to run 21 laps in one hour! He actually placed third in the whole school. He was so tired and hot, but he had a goal and he stuck with it. It helped having his friends Brogan and Tyler running with him. It kept him going. Brynnie did great too. She completed 10 laps during her hour. She even ran more later that day, because she was up there with me. I was sure proud of my kiddos!
