Pearl Harbor was THE reason I wanted to go to the island of Oahu. This was on my bucket list to do and it did not disappoint. I love visiting the places we learn about in school. It makes these moments in history more personal and I can't wait to educate young people about them one day. I of course learned so much more about Pearl Harbor and it is always good to have a visual in your head of what it all looks like. There was a memorial that was built over the USS Arizona. It was one of the ships who sank and who still sits in the bottom of the ocean. So amazing!
