Beach Day!!

While we were in Florida we spent a couple of days at the beach. We went to St. Andrew's State Park and loved it!! The water is sooo pretty and you have the convenience of the beach on one side and the bay on the other. The first day we went, the beach was so rough, the kids couldn't really get in and swim, so we walked over to the bay, where there were no waves and it was really shallow for a long time. There is a rock jetty on the bay side and you can go out there with some goggles and see all kinds of fish and sea creatures. It was really cool. A big pirate ship comes by with tourists on it and blows its cannons a couple of time and Landen loved that! The first day we were there, we stayed pretty much ALL day. Mya and Kinsley came along, and they were pretty good sports about the sun and sand. We brought a pack-n-play and they slept and played in that. The second time we went, Tyler was with us and the weather wasn't too great, but we still had a good time. That is one of the things I miss the most about Florida, is spending the day at the beach with my family and eating PB& J's and drinking capri suns. Fun times!!
