The donkey trying to console baby Jesus
Every year Tyler's family has the grandkids dress up and act out the Nativity while reading in the book of Luke. We have been in Florida every year for Christmas so my kids have not been able to participate. Tyler's mom does such a great job with their costumes and the kids had a blast. Peyton was Joseph, Brynn was an angel, Landen wanted to be the donkey, and Mya was baby Jesus (this was her second time playing the baby Jesus). The kids were so cute acting out the book of Luke. Mya screamed the whole time. Landen couldn't keep the smile off his face. And while Mya was screaming, the "donkey" kept kissing and rubbing her head. It was so cute. I love doing things like this that helps the kids understand the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
