Stake Girl's Camp

The Laurels and YCL's

"My Girl's"

Our pep rally

So, immediately after I returned from Florida, I turned right back around and had to leave for Girl's Camp for a week. We spent a lot of time planning the activities that we were going to have to be in charge of. I was asked to the Laurel advisor while we were there and we were in charge of about 30 something girls. I had the best helper, Carrie and we had such a fantastic group of girls. We pulled it off with everyone pitching in, and I have to say that this was one of the best Girl's Camps I have ever been too. The girl's had a blast and I had a great time getting to know all the girls. We were in charge of a pep rally, devotionals, line dancing, power point presentations, flash mob dancing, karoke, ,mock accidents and I am sure I have missed some others. We were basically in charge of keeping the girl's sprits up and to keep everyone's enthusiasm level high. We had a cute camp yell with a song about "Mormon boys," which was really cute. I do have to say that my 18 week pregnant body was pretty exhausted when all was said and done. But I survived! I am still catching up on sleep but that is okay. It was a great experience!

4th of July Barbeque

All of my mom's grandkids with two on the way!

Adam tried to teach Peyton and Landen how to rope a bull

The cutest little boy in the world!

Brynn, Landen, and Renner

Landen, Brynn, Aunt Glynis, and Kyers

Saturday, July 3rd we celebrated the Fourth of July at my mom's house with a good ole' barbecue. We had hamburgers and hotdogs and I ate so much I thought I was going to be sick. After we ate we played Ultimate Frizbee and some Flag Football. It was so much fun and it reminded me of when we were all younger, there were so many of us that we always had a backyard game of football or baseball or something going on. I love to be with my family and we had such a great time.

Whitney's Shower

My cousin, Whitney is getting married!!! I am going to miss her wedding so we made sure that she at least had her shower(s) while I was there visiting. We had her bridal shower at my mom's house and the I have to say the decorations were amazing as well as the food! I didn't get any pictures because I have been horrible at taking pictures lately, but it was a great shower and she got a lot of great things. It made me wish I could have a bridal shower all over again. I think a tradition should be started where you have another bridal shower about ten years after you are married, because that seems to be when you need new stuff! Congrats Whitney and Kale!

Eclipse

My cousins and some friends went to see Eclipse on opening day. It was so much fun going with a lot of girls. I did miss going with my family in Idaho though, because that has been our tradition with the first two. We had to stand in line before we got into the theater because we had gotten there early so we could get good seats. We took turns going to eat in the food court while others kept our place in line. The movie was great, and I have to say that it was better than the first two. Leslie made us these cute shirts that we were all wearing. But there were a lot of people who were dressed in a lot fancier Twilight clothes.

Panama City Beach

Peyton LOVES to boogie board, that is his favorite thing and the waves were huge while we were there.

Landen would cry when we would get out of the water. He loved the waves and didn't care that a few crashed down on him and he had salt water in his eyes, he loved every minute of it.

Grant just loved eating the sand.

My mom rented a condo for us to stay in at the beach for a few days, so that we could enjoy the beach a little bit. It was just my family, Mark's family, and Jonathan and Kailyn came as much as they could. It was kind of a bummer because it rained and stormed most of the time we were there. And the currents were really bad in the ocean, so we all had a hard time swimming in the beach. The water was so warm though, but when I was in the water for just a little bit, I felt like I had been working out with heavy weights by the time I got out. We were going to take the kids to a great water park, Shipwreck Island, but they were closed both days because of the weather. The kids did get to play in the water a couple of times while we were there. But I definitely didn't get the suntan I was wanting too. It was still fun hanging out with my family. Brynn had a little accident where she leaned on a shelf and everything on the shelf fell down and crashed on top of her. There were a lot of breakable things on there too. She had a big bruise on her head and a deep cut over her eye. She survived it though. :)
