Didn't want her picture taken...is this a prelude to what I get to look forward to this year? Is my sweet little girl gone for good??

Brynn's choice for her birthday dinner was Alex's which is a local Spanish restaurant where the kids LOVE the chips and salsa and the carne asada!

If you notice in the picture above, Landen is copying what Peyton was doing when I took their picture. He is so funny, always wanting to do what his older siblings do. It took a minute to get the straw positioned just right...

Brynn's actual birthday was on Saturday. And she was really confused. I think having her party on Monday really threw her off. I kept telling her she was four when she woke up but she told me that she had already opened her presents and had cake and that she wasn't four yet because she had not done neither that day. I guess she thought these were requirements before she could turn a year older. Anyways, she was in a really grumpy mood when she woke up. We had a birthday breakfast of french toast (those are her favorite). We sung Happy Birthday to her, which she kept telling us to stop singing while we were singing to her. And then Landen blew her candle out faster that she could get it blown out and of course she cried. So we had to light another one sans the singing of Happy Birthday. So that is why she is covering her face in her pictures. Later that day we went over to Tyler's parents house and celebrated Brynn and Grandpa's birthday. It was such a nice day and the kids had a lot of fun playing outside. Brynn got a ton of great presents and was so happy. Cincy and Sydney called her and told her Happy Birthday which she loved.Later that night, her primary teachers, the Barger's came over and brought her a cupcake with a butterfly ring in it. They are so good with the little kids, they just love them. It was really sweet of them to come over and make Brynn's day that extra special. So once we got over being grumpy that morning, it was a great day!
