Singing at the Festival of Trees

Both Peyton and Brynn's class were singing at the Festival of Trees. Lucky for me they performed one right after the other. I love watching the kids sing. The music teacher does a great job and they sing the cutest songs. During Peyton's performance the stage broke in half...no one was hurt, but they were sure scared. So they had to quickly create a makeshift stage for them. After Peyton's performance, the kids got to see Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Brynn's class did a great job. She even had a solo part in one of her songs. She did great! Mya was a handful during the performances, luckily Tiff stayed and helped me with her. I love this time of year and enjoy watching my kids perform.

Mya's One Year Old!!!

I can't say this enough but I cannot believe that Mya's already one year old. She has been standing and taking steps on her own, but still prefers crawling as her main mode of transportation. She has gotten quite sassy and is very opinionated as to knowing what she wants. She has already started throwing little tantrums but dramatically throwing her head to the floor as she is fake crying over something she wants. (It starts too soon with little girls!) We had an early birthday for her on Thanksgiving day with Ty's family. She was loving her cupcake and when she was finished with it, she began sucking and licking on the wrapper just to make sure she had consumed all of it! It was so cute! We love you baby girl!

Thanksgiving Feast

I was able to help out at Brynn's Thanksgiving Feast. They had made cute Indian costumes and things for the feast. They sang songs and ate a delicious feast. Those kindergarteners are so cute. Landie was able to join in the feast too. He was pretty proud to be hanging out with the kindergarteners!

Halloween Party and Parade

The elementary school always had a costume parade for the kids to show off their Halloween costumes. After the parade are the class parties and I was in charge of Peyton's class party. I had the kids make these cute foam monsters and they played games and had a cake walk. It was fun to see Peyton with his classmates and be with him at school.
