Hangin' with the Girls!

Little Miss Kinsley was born about two weeks before Mya. I love having a niece the same age as my own. Kinsley is such a sweet little girl and I am sad that I'm not there to get to know her better. A lot of my cousins have had or will have baby girls within a year or so. Mya is going to have a fun group of cousins to play with when we go to Florida! I just had to snap a few pictures of these little ladies. They will be grown up before we know it!

Swimming Lessons

This was Landen's first time taking swimming lessons. I put him in early in the summer to make up the lack of playmates at our house (Peyton and Brynn left for Florida on the 1st of June). He really missed his brother and sister, so I thought swimming lessons would help keep him busy while they were gone. He loved swimming, but was surprisingly timid in the water. He wouldn't jump into the pool by himself, he always had to have the teacher right there holding his hand. That all changed when we were in Florida for a month and swimming every day. He was lucky enough to take his swimming lessons with his friends: Lily, Riley, Ellie, and Lexi.

Mya's Half a Year!

This little gal is growing like a weed. She loves to have people around her and screams if someone isn't in the room with her. She still loves the shower and bath, and we took her to some hot springs and she loved every minute of that too! Her smile is the cutest thing because her whole face lights up and her cheeks are just so chubby that her eyes crinkle shut. She is loving her cereal and baby food, and wants to take a bite of whatever we are eating. She has the cutest giggle. Gets up once in the night, and goes to bed around 9:30. Loves to play and eat wrappers of any kind. Has been fed a french fry, courtesy of Landen, while we were driving. She is the cutest little baby and always gets complimented when we are out in public. We love her to pieces!!

Sleepy Time

I was trying to put Landen to bed one night and he had the giggles because he was so tired. I couldn't remember what I had said but he kept laughing and laughing and wouldn't stop. I was annoyed at first and then started laughing myself and snapped some pictures of him. Isn't he so cute?

Pet Day

Layton brought Obama the llama!

Peyton has been looking forward to his last week of school pretty much since the beginning of May. They had something fun planned for them everyday of that week. Pet Day was one of the days Peyton was so excited about. He had a handful of pets to choose from to bring: a dog, a horse, some chickens.... He decided he wanted to bring Riley our dog. I made Tyler go with us, so that he could keep a handle on Riley. Peyton was so proud to show her off and thought it was pretty cool to tell his classmates that she is a bird dog and that she is older than him!

Field Day

The kids and I were able to go and watch Peyton during his Field Day at school. I missed this last year because I was in New York, so I was excited to get to watch him this year. He won some of his races and lost some. It was funny to watch him, because he would always look behind him and to the side of him to see who was running where. I told him to not look at anyone and to just run his hardest, but he didn't listen to me. That kid loves to run (and win)!

Mya was getting too comfortable having Ryan hold her and was about to fall asleep
We are sure proud of this little boy!

I was so proud of Peyton reaching his reading goal. He really wanted a shirt and had to get to 100 points before he would receive one. He made his goal and was so excited to get his t-shirt. Way to go Peyt!!
