Last night for YW's we had a fashion show. A few weeks ago we had taken them shopping at D.I., some of the girls got some cute stuff, and a lot of them actually found some prom dresses there! It was a lot of fun, and my great friend, Robbie (who is the D.I. guru), came and spoke with the girls. It was a lot of fun. So last night we had a fashion show, where they showed off their outfits. We invited their moms and it was a fun night. The only stipulation was that the outfits had to be modest and I thought the girl's did a great job. Even the leaders "strutted" their stuff down the red carpet!

Women's Conference 2009

We put extensions in Alyssa and Kristen's hair, and they looked amazing!

It was a lot of fun getting ready and staying with other girls. We all did eachother's hair and makeup.

Normal people pack granola bars, peanuts, etc. for snacks, but not Kristen...she brought a loaf of homemade bread and M.R.E.'s!

This was my first year being able to go to Women's Conference. And I have to say that it was GREAT! I loved it so much. We laughed and we cried. It was uplifting and such a great experience. We stayed with one of Jess's friends, Mary. We went to classes for most of the day and ate and shopped in the evening. We chatted until the wee hours of the morning, so we were going on little sleep. The speakers were amazing and I hated to leave. I was ready to see my family but I felt like you do when you leave the temple or girl's camp...it's time to get back to the real world. I am definately going next year!

Dance Performance

Brynn had her first performance of the Spring season this last week. She performed at Autumn Haven. They actually performed both of their dances and she did a great job. Tyler was able to come and she always gets shy when Tyler is watching her, but she did great! They were so cute in their little costumes!
